I'd like to introduce you to Zoe Georges, the new Associate Sports Massage Therapist at Sort Your Sport.

You may be aware that I, and my family, are moving to Spain to start a new life on a rural finca (farm). This means that I have now personally stopped offering treatments to new clients, and will only be available on selected dates through the year for my existing clients.

I am really pleased to let you know that you will still be able to receive sports massage treatments with Sort Your Sport. My new associate Zoe Georges will provide treatments in the same venue and at the same time slots as you are used to.

I'm really excited that Zoe has joined us as she is an excellent intuitive therapist who really knows how to find a niggle and sort it out!

You can continue to book through the Book Now button on the website or can now book directly with Zoe on 07702 191749. Please do update your sports massage contact number with her number in place of mine.

Zoe is looking forward to helping you keep your body in shape through the year ahead!

She is offering £10 off for all first treatments with her for both new and exisitng clients during May and June to celebrate her arrival!

Welcome Zoe!

Wow! What an amazing show so far! And great results from Team GB. Awesome!

With some fantastic results already in the cycling, in the road races, time trials and on the track, we want to get behind Team GB and you in your pursuit of sporting excellence - whatever your sport and at whatever level to choose to enjoy it!

You'll have seen Rocktape worn by many of the athletes during the Games including the (surely soon-to-be knight of the realm) Bradley Wiggins, but it isn't just for elite athletes. You can use Rocktape so support your body during training and in events of any kind! It can also be used to help with non-sporting injuries too such as neck and low back pain.

Take a look at our new Olympic Special Offer and save up to £27! Then call us to book your treatment or use our online diary to book yourself in. Don't forget to quote this exclusive special offer when you book!

We are showing our support for all cyclists riding and racing this Summer by giving a huge 20% off our individual treatments and treatment packages.

Treatments booked during the three weeks of Le Tour will also include a free gift of Elite O3one Pre-Comp Warm-Up muscle rub (RRP £14.99) perfect for getting the legs going on those early morning rides and to avoid muscle cramps and injuries.

Abby Allen, owner and sports massage therapist said: “This really is a summer of cycling with Great Britiain’s Bradley Wiggins as favourite to win the 2012 Tour de France. We want to show our support for all cyclists at any level as they try to emulate the pro’s and make our treatments more accessible so that everyone can enjoy a full injury-free summer of riding and racing.”

As well as providing sports massage treatments at Freedom Leisure Hassocks, based at the Downland Community School, Meridian Sports Therapy has a second clinic at the King Alfred in Hove. The special offer applies to treatments at both clinics.

Meridian Sports Therapy’s clinics are popular with recreational and competitive cyclists and those taking part on all sorts of sports from fun-runners through to Ironmen. And if you thought treatment by Meridian Sports Therapy was only suitable for athletes, you’d be wrong. Sports massage techniques are ideal for treating any number of common injuries and problems often brought about by a static lifestyle, such as neck and shoulder injuries from working at a computer all week.

So why not take advantage of this great special offer and get treated like a Pro-rider! Call Abby on 07900 587763 for more information or visit to book yourself directly into the diary!

Vive Le Tour!

The treatments we provided included included manipulation, sports massage and remedial exercises for the classic runners injuries such as ITB sydrome, runners knee, snapping hip, shin splints, piriformis sydrome and plantar faciitis as well as numerous neck, shoulder and back complaints. And some had more than one of the above when they first came to see me!

I also have had great feedback on the Rocktape fittings that I did. All of those that I taped up for their runs reported that they didn't even have the slightest problem with the areas they expected to hold them up. Great news!

If you have a big event coming up, whatever your discipline be it running, cycling, triathlon, or even Ironman, take a look at our Marathon Survival Packs. They are well suited to all types of endurance event comprising sports therapy treatments, personal training plans and performance coaching for when your motivation starts slipping!

We also offer large discounts when you buy any of our treatment packs with up to 25% off the usual hourly rate for individual treatments. Visit our online shop where you can also find gift vouchers for all of our treatments and self-help products.

Well, at last some time for some well earned rest! And I mean me, not just all those who have been taking part in both the Brighton Marathon and London Virgin Marathon these past two weeks.

I'm delighted that all of my clients, who I have been treating for an array of problems over the last few months, made it round - some of them in really impressive times, and have given us great feedback on the treatments they received.

Here is the latest feedback I received just this morning from Virgin London Marathon runner Tristan:

"Thanks for [your] good work last week, neither of my niggles played up in London. Will mention you to other runners I know, and will be back ahead of [my] next big event in a month or so." Tristan D.
