Sort Your Sport is based in Uckfield, East Sussex and is owned by Sports Massage & Soft Tissue Therapist Abby Pulham. Abby retrained as a sports massage professional in 2011 after a 15 year career in environmental project management. She soon noticed, that whilst there are many holistic massage therapists offering Swedish massage or deep tissue massage (often described as sports massage), there was little true sports therapy provision. True sports massage therapy incorporates injury assessment and post-care advice as well as stretching, massage and manipulation techniques. Abby started her own sports therapy clinic to specifically address this gap in professional treatment for those serious about their health and physical condition.
"We aim for Sort Your Sport to be a one-stop-shop, giving you all the tools you need to keep yourself in peak condition. If we can't help you directly, we will know someone who can and will always refer you to someone with confidence and not waste your time or money if sports therapy is not the best thing for you."
Zoe has a Level 4 Sports Massage qualification and is registered with the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists). She also has qualifications in pregnancy massage and advanced massage techniques. She is also a registered provider of Kinesio Taping.
Zoe's passion is Pilates as well as competing in cycling sportives, triathlons, half and full marathons. She finds it very rewarding to help people on their personal journeys to staying healthy, active and working towards their own personal goals.
Abby has recently stopped treating new clients and is in the process of setting up a new venture in Spain. Sort Your Sport continues with Zoe Georges as Abby's Associate Therapist. Abby has taken great care in choosing Zoe replace her, ensuring that you continue to receive excellent, specific, problem-focussed treatments with a competent therapist. Abby says "I know that with Zoe you are in safe hands. She has been my own therapist for a while now, and she's been excellent at sorting out my niggles. I wouldn't recommend someone I didn't believe in, and I am delighted that Zoe has joined Sort Your Sport. If you have a niggle, ache or injury then do see Zoe and get yourself sorted properly."
